We think we found and fixed the issue with copy/paste from microsoft files (e.g. Word), so game entry will go a bit smoother. Repeat after me "Non-standard characters are bad. Smart quotes are really dumb." The reality was we'd changed the default character set definitions between sites (again, software "upgrade") and while both sets handle the non-standard stuff, they do so differently and thinking we were in one when we were in the other was borking writing to the db.

I need volunteer lists of those that want to preregister for games by *THURSDAY*. I will be on the road Friday and have an event I'm attending both Friday and Saturday night, and as is will be activating things from a hotel room, so if you miss that deadline it will be too late. Preregistration will still be flipped on at noon Saturday.
