[Deptheads] More on the meeting

Sunday Meeting--Jan 12, 2014

Staff, Supervisors, Convention support
1 PM at Hilton LAX
5711 West Century Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90045

This is a walkthru of the Convention layout at the Hilton.
Food will not be provided.

The walkthru is not for debating the assigned spaces but for each supervisor to view their space and organize it (how many tables, table sizes, location of outlets, where to setup HQ, etc). The walkthru also gives everyone a chance to see the overall convention setup as well as where elevators, bathrooms, 24 hr starbucks, and other facilities are (and places to eat outside the hotel and walking distance to them).

Do not expect parking to be free or reimbursed. If it is consider it a pleasant surprise.

This is our first con at the new location so Supervisors have alot to do getting their space set up and organized within a short window of time.. All of us also have the entire convention layout to learn so we can pass it on to our volunteers, gms, guests, and attendees. It is going to be a busy day with lots to get done. See you Sunday.
