I'd like to take a moment to say Thank you to all the people that helped me figure out the job of Game Librarian.  I think its really easy for folks to get lost in their own worlds and be unavailable but I found the opposite.  Everyone I spoke to was really helpful and patient.  Rusty even sat in the Library on his break for a bathroom run that was moving towards desperate.  Really can't thank you enough.  
I learned a ton about what's expected.  Here are just a couple of the lessons...Lesson One - more bins.  And Shelves.Lesson Two - More volunteers.  On Monday.  Waaaay More.  Lesson Three - Don't ask if we should clear out the junk games with the customers.  You may be speaking to the designer of exactly that game you are suggesting getting rid of.  Which you can imagine is pretty much the most horribly awkward experience ever. (maybe this should be Lesson One)  Lessons Four through Infinity I'll keep to myself here, but again, thank you for all the help.  Next time I'll be better prepared.  Probably.

I just wanted to point out that a lot of people came up to the registration desk this con and commented at how great a show this was.  All I heard all weekend was how smooth it went and that there was a real great vide to the Con.  Even some of the people that usually always have something negative to say, even said it was the best show they have been to in many many years.  I personally did not get any complains aside for the silly ones like the 2nd floor is so confusing, and that was usually said with a smile.  Being at the registration desk we get a lot of feed back, i think because we are the first people they see when they check in and the last when they come to get the parking validation, so we hear it all, and this time it was Good.  So great job to everyone for what i think was our best show to date !!
