Hi All,

There is a very high probability that I will be working 40 hr weeks starting next week, July 13. And with that comes a significant decrease in my time available for website edits. Content is easy. Functionality is the challenge.

I started working on some features for the Run_Event page. Please review on the dev site at

Assuming your account is not recently made, you should be able to log in. If not, let me know personally.

I need to know from each department which fields your department has no use for and which are a requirement.
Examples:
Board games likely has no real use for Game System field.
RPGs likely have no need for Players per Game. Then again Adventurers League and Pathfinder might.
Everyone should require start time and duration.

I've added a Genre field. It can be labeled just about anything you want.
It currently lists the boardgames categories, plus a few genres from various email requests.
I need to know if we need a category and a genre for some departments, or if one or the other is fine and which one.

Then I'll need a list of the options you want/need?

I've separated 101/Tutorial from Demo. I need to know if that is necessary.

Please also review the tooltips (?) and let me know of any issues or changes.

Please review every dropdown list to make sure it covers your needs, or if there is something that your department can't handle.

I'm working on the department specific settings and browser side error checking now (i.e. Javascript)

Do not bother to submit an event. It will likely fail.

Some of this will hopefully be made live by the end of the week. Completely new features may not get finalized until after Gateway 2015.

This is your last chance to ask for changes to this page for at least this year. Keep in mind, I have to update all the other event pages for each added feature and some of the changes.

P.S. If there is a PHP developer interested in trying to merge the display events code with the pre-reg events code, let me know.
