Seems to work fine for the vendors portion.
Question one: To add an email to the account it *has* to go through Tracy?
Question two: Will this be made into a data base where we can "activate" an
account to create a badge for the current convention without re-entering
all the data?

test badges. Boardgames, Collectibles, RPGs, if you each send me three names
to enter, I'll have a decent data set for the next task and I can get rid
of all the test badges I had to make.

There is a check box for no account. Select it and it will give you first
and last name fields.
Vendor name should go under title.
If a vendor wants their badges attached to a Strategicon account, they
need to provide you with an email address, otherwise, don't worry about it.

I went to input the badges and apparently can't. I don't and won't have
the email address for the names, and the badges need the vendor name (i.e.

When you go to the page and start entering, you'll realize that everyone
who can enter badges can see all the badges of the badge types you have
access to. How much more oversight do we need? If you see potential abuse,
point it out to Eric A. and Tracy.
Also, Tracy and Eric A. can see all badges.
A few of us kicked the tires on this page for Gamex 2015, so I think most
of the problems we found have been fixed. John, if you don't see your
vendors in the list after entering them, let me know, so I can fix it.
If there is something you feel needs to be added to this page, please add
it to bug 38. Yes, that means you have to create an account; I'm still
waiting for someone to put in a request.

I'm not sure we want each department to input their own badges without a
buffer. Remember miniatures having 50 badges for 18 events and some of those
were dead? We need some kind of oversight to protect the con.

More to the point, we're trying to get people in the system as we confirm
them, not right before pre-reg gets turned on or right before the con
starts. It's intended to make both Eric A's and Tracy's lives a little less
stressful in the weeks right before the con.
If you're in charge of the distributing a pile of badges from
registration, we would prefer you be the one entering them. That's all Vendors, Games
Masters, Volunteers and Senior Volunteers. People outside these four usually
have to be approved first, so Eric A or Tracy will be dealing with them
anyway.

I think Tanya wants you to enter some vendors on the Strategicon site
using your account in order to work out any bugs that might exist. We are
trying to make sure that the system will be working correctly when the time
comes for everyone to enter their badge requests.
