To all those submitting or getting people to submit photos, please pass on these file naming rules.

1. No ( ). I've already read about issues with Coppermine and it's a pain on Linux and so don't use them.
2. Recommend not using periods for anything other than file extensions, another potential Coppermine issue I'd rather not test.
3. Try not to use spaces in file names, use _ . We run on a Linux box, and while spaces are allowed, they are a pain, and guess who's going to feel the pain the most.

The safest non-alphanumerical characters are _ and -

That's it so far, but I'm having to clean up well over 100 files that are failing two out of these three rules and I'm going to be really hating the next batch I see and cursing the person who sends them. :)
