[Strategicon Department Heads]

Hi all - 


This is NOT an emergency, but I felt I should bring it up…


The new "group photo" for the Strategicon (closed) group features obviously non-hotel-supplied adult beverages.


As a "closed" group, we're not dealing with the general public, so not much sweat there.  I would just suggest that we be take a bit of care regarding any representations of refreshments during the con. I'm sure others have better insights, but my (mild) concerns would be:
1) The hotel's reaction to people bringing in alcohol
2) Are we licensed/permitted to have beer/wine/spirits at our tables, per the City and State?
3) Anything in our insurance, room rental agreement, contract, etc., that precludes a something to drink?


Just checking.

Hi everyone,


  In order to cut down on work in BGHQ and get more organized, I brought home the flags.  My roommate Nikki has spent the past couple of days prepping the flags.  This shifts one of the most time consuming jobs out of BGHQ and allows our volunteers to focus on helping players and GMs.


   There are so many missing flags, I am wondering if one of our boxes has gone walkabout.  It may have accidentally got packed with our BGHQ stuff or sent home with someone else.  So, I am writing to everyone to ask you to please keep an eye out for it.  It will have several hanging file folders full of printed boardgame images.
