A. Lunch – This really should be brunch. It’s 2018. What are we, barbarians?

B. Welcome and Announcements

               1. Mei is stepping down – I blame Seattle. Transition
details to come, but she is still helping out where she can for now.



C. Orccon

               1. What went right – Largest Orccon, lots of new faces.
Paizo was really happy, Games on Demand for kids is going very well.
Despite the discussion about the pool noodles in Board Games, I am putting
it into the win column.

               2. What went wrong – Spent a lot of money. Flu hit us hard.

               3. Shirt reorders – If you need your shirt, please contact
Mei.



D. Gamex

               1. Budget – Going to be very tight, especially since we are
actively pursuing Artemis.

               2. Special Guests and Events – Wade Rocket, Catan Qualifier,
Pandemic Qualifier, Doomtown, Artemis (sober and drunk), LARP showcase, 40K
ITC tournament and Exodus.

               3. Publicity

                              a. transition – Please let Mei know info for
the marketing email. Also looking for someone to do Twitter, Instagram,
website, art director (with portfolio), and more folks to monitor the
Facebook.

                              b. Marketing Email #1 – Despite my baseless
threats, she has never actually made up stuff if you don’t send her
anything. This might be her moonshot, are you willing to risk it?

                              c. Art – Still need an Art director.

                              d. Shirts – Looking good.

               4. Department reports

                              Registration – Please let Tracy know of
anything you have that qualifies as a single event before con. Going to
eliminate pre-paying for any extra cost events, must pay at event.

                              Pathfinder – Wants to send someone for the
2.0 launch at Gateway 2019, looking at doing playtest at this gateway.

                              Party – 93 events. Will run some sort of
Sunday evening staff game again (which was really fun, Thanks, Will).

                              LARPs – Having a showcase event to bring in
the new folks.

                              RPGs – Hit hard by the flu. Some space issues
in the Lower Lobby.

                              Video Games – Switch becoming popular. Will
add events.

                              Library – Need a new website picture. Found
that games gifted at con were not getting added to inventory list, has
since been corrected.

                              Board Games – Shane’s random number salad
showed a trend of lowering event count and attendance especially on Monday.
Will try to reverse that.

                              Collectibles – Will add Monday events.

                              Adventurers League – Largest yet, might be
able to move some events up to PFS during the off times.

                              Payouts – Supervisors, please inform your GMs
about what actually pays out, sponsored events generally don’t.

                              Minis – Thanks to Army Painter for supplying
Paint and Take, largest painting contest.

               5. Signage – If you need signs, let Mike J know. Getting
pop-ups for Artemis, LARPs and Family area.

               6. Website – Please check your department’s info on the
website Get any changes to Tanya. We all had a good laugh about the
Strategicon email addresses.

               7. Parking – Chris Carlson will verify info. Mei will get
Spot Hero again.

               8. Rooms – No badge wall this time, no funky restrictions.
Go crazy.

               9. Hotel Stuff – Possibly getting pop-ups for the patios.

               10. Hotel Layout Space – Get anything you need to Mike J
ASAP.

               11. Logistics – Will be getting more rolling boxes for
Gamex. I will contact you.

               12. Business Cards – Tara and William, definitely. Anyone
else, let Eric know.
