Alright! Kids’ only LARPs are a GO! Ryan McMullan will be running several runs of “Wizard’s Quest” in the Malibu Gardens courtyard on Saturday, starting at 2pm. Each run will be an hour long. So while teens will have the boffer showcase in Bel Air from 2 to 6pm on Saturday, the littler ones will have Wizard’s Quest. 😊
I’m trying to talk him into running a few in the morning as well, on either Saturday or Sunday. Will let you know if we have more runs.
As a side note: is there a way I can edit an event to start at 3:30 instead of 3pm?
Best,
Tara

Ryan is likely submitting a kids game to LARPs this week. I’ll let you know when it’s in. It will run in the courtyard; we’ll have some sunscreen on hand for the kiddos.

We need more!
Please help!
LARPs and War Games are about the only departments that get a pass for now.
Currently, we have one Miniatures event and one Board Game event, and in theory, one Video game event.
I have it on good authority that RPGs will be well covered. In this situation, I include Adventurers League and Pathfinder under RPGs, though you are welcome to contribute. And, while RPGs has promised me a number of events, RPGs aren’t really designed for the average age of 6.
I’m asking for people to contribute 1 hr of time, to run a quick, fun, but not generic game appropriate for age 6 or younger in the morning, or average age 6 in the afternoon.
As for board and card games, Shane has set aside one slot for each hour the Family Area is open (8am to 8pm), I think only 4 of those hrs are scheduled. But, I can’t expect Shane to hold those spaces for the Family Area for more than a few days past today.
