[Deptheads] LARP Breaks 20!

Hey hey! 

LARP has finally hit the 20 event mark—and that’s after canceling two events, and before another event from special guest John Wick submits his third game. It’s a record! Yaaaaay! 

My predecessor Ryan sent me a message telling me not to make it look too easy (it’s not), or some folks might start to get jealous. Lol. 

That being said, I have a ton of special events and need help marketing the hell out of them. We have karaoke, a ball, a pro-wrestling party LARP, and LARPs running in the fantasy worlds of The Dresden Files (Butcher) and The Kingkiller Chronicles (Rothfuss), to name just a few. On that score: if you can help me promote in any way or have ideas, please email me back and let me know.

Since we have some great, low-bar-to-entry games and lots of special events, I also wanted to encourage staff and department heads to consider participating in a LARP or two, even if you just drop by for a bit. That goes especially for those who haven’t LARPed before. I know everyone’s busy, but we promise to show you an awesome time—even if you only have a moment to cheer on a wrestler, have a dance, or sing a song. 😊
