[Deptheads] Special Events?

[Strategicon Department Heads]

Late for this one, but have we ever thought about doing a play to win
thing? Not just a "play this particular game and win, get a copy of the
game", but a play to win event. Where people play games that were donated
by publishers, get tickets for playing, and then there's a drawing. I think
most cons that do it have it going the whole time, but I can see doing it
as an event, like one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Might be a good way of
getting more publisher donations to the con game library too; they'd want
us to have their games to run the event.
Anyway, it's probably something that's been brought up, but in case it
hasn't already, I thought it would be a cool event. Kind of late for Game,
but good for Gateway, especially with all the new games coming out in the
next few months.
