[Deptheads] Expecting a complaint

We've had a repeated problem with the father of Liam Clark (don't know the
father's name) with regard to preregistration, registration, and
participation in tournaments.

Two separate events occurred. The first was the Saturday 6 PM Smash Bros.
tournament. He had preregistered, but somehow his name was not on the list.
I can only assume that I was reading the wrong prereg list when I was
writing up the sign-up sheets. Despite this, the problem was caught before
we'd completed the bracket sheet, so Liam was included.

On the Sunday 6 PM Smash Bros. tournament, Liam was on the preregistration
sheet, but when the GM called names, Liam and his father did not answer,
despite being present (we did not know either of them well enough to be
able to easily identify them). His name was called several times, and then
a "Final call" was called before the bracket sheet was generated.

After the tournament had already been going for 15 minutes, Mr. Clark spoke
up, asking when his son's turn was. He was informed that he hadn't spoke,
and got visibly upset that his son was signed up, and was present, and
thought that he should still be in the tournament anyway.

Because of these (and a vague recollection that we've had similar problems
with the Clarks in the past, although I may be mis-remembering), I expect
that we're going to have a formal complaint to the convention on the
matter.

"Would you like another drink, sir?" asked the bartender.
"I think not," replied Descartes, and promptly vanished.
