Understood. Yes, I use the Sign-up Sheet Event Lists on the website to
create my mail merge, and then clean stuff up by hand and add information
where necessary. Since I usually have between 16 and 20 events now, this
isn't too difficult for me. Moreover, I have to find out and add a bunch of
information because it's not been added to the website for LARP event
applications (something I would sorely love to see)--i.e. time period,
costume guidelines, type of combat or resource management system, that sort
of thing. Hopefully someday. Right now I just sort've have it all memorized
for thirty different games, and chase after GMs for stuff I haven't seen
before.
As I have been doing, I will make sure that 101 and Playtest demarcations
are clearly in the title field. That is there primarily for the players, so
they know what they're getting into, but obviously it will also be helpful
to your data entry fairies.
