[Deptheads] Incorrect Badge Numbers, Invalid Names on Paperwork

Note to all.

We have a large number of people at the con (including GMs) who write down wrong numbers or illegible numbers. Or, I hate to say it, steal numbers or borrow badges. Plus, some people can’t write their name legibly either.

While I’d love to have every badge number confirmed, even I don’t think I’d get to it. Just making sure everyone playing has a badge during Registration hours is enough.

However, we really need to try and confirm all badge numbers associated with winners. And make sure the name matches too.

If a name does not match a badge number (and we can’t find the badge based on the name) the person is removed from the winners list.

No person without a badge should be in any event starting “During Convention Registration Hours”. This is especially true for Tournaments.

Any Tournament starting after Registration is closed, when a person places with no badge, the GM needs to have backup place people. This is also a good idea for Events. Because, if we can’t find a qualifying badge in the badge list by end of con, they lose their place. I’ll reinstate any person who sends me proof or brings me proof of a badge for the con in question.
