There are some troubleshooting steps with Discord we can advise as well.

When audio goes bad on the platform, it tends to stay that way until you
leave the audio chat and rejoin it. I run a couple of large discord servers
and it seems to be a consistent issue with their platform and voice chat.

Quickly leaving the chat and rejoining will usually solve the following
issues (for the person having the problem):

   - Voices cutting out (especially if it is consistent with one or more
   people)
   - Static in one or more peoples voices
   - Last word drop offs

There are additionally a number of trouble shooting steps that can be done
with Discord to enhance voice performance but is a bit more in depth. We
could provide a "self" troubleshooting guide with screen shots and
suggestions
