John going to be the GM for all these events (i.e. picking up

I am also curious as to why card games needs to be its own department.
Traditional card games has been a part of boardgames for years, going
back to when I worked for Jack Butler. The reason there have not been
events the past few cons is that no one wanted to run them. If John
wanted to run card game events, couldn't he have simply submitted these
events like everyone else to the boardgames department?</div><div style="" class="" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1416166541659_11303" dir="ltr"><br style="" class=""></div><div style="" class="" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1416166541659_11304" dir="ltr">
I am bringing this up because I would like a clear understanding of
what is expected of me with regards to this new department. I am
concerned due to past experiences with the creation of the Wargames
Department and the rocky start I had when it was created. I was told
there was a new department with its own department head, budget, and
schedule, yet I was responsible for the paperwork. Sound
familiar? So this time, I would like things explained and clearly
delineated before going forward.</div><div style="" class="" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1416166541659_48937" dir="ltr"><br style="" class=""></div><div style="" class="" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1416166541659_48939" dir="ltr">Shane Sauby</div><div style="" class="" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1416166541659_50057" dir="ltr">Boardgames Supervisor<br style="" class=""></div><div style="" class="" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1416166541659_11542" dir="ltr"><br style="" class=""></div><div style="" class="" dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1416166541659_50622"><br style="" class=""></div></div></body></html>
