Or looking for players for a particular game. Then if someone wanders around in open gaming, they could see it and head over there and it could make it easier.. Maybe something that is a bit high and has a number or a card or whatever. Sometimes people in open gaming are looking for players, but they might be doing a filler or something while waiting for people to come.
