I will try to implement a form of the color coding on the Run Event page for those with the higher limits. The idea is to cut down on yours and Eric A.'s work in editing descriptions. Orange is between 420 and 560 chars. Red is over 560 chars. I would recommend you all go in and make sure your department's (or in some cases group's) events are fitting the bill. There aren't many glaring problems, so don't panic. If you see red descriptions, please help edit them down before Eric does. He can be ruthless. Unless the events are LARPs they shouldn't be orange either. If the department isn't one of the four exceptions, please try to prune the yellow ones too, though these are a lesser concern. Now and in the future, if at all possible, an event description, no matter the department, should try to keep to the 280 characters or less. I know Eric A. would appreciate any efforts made to shrink any and all descriptions.
