I have a system for determining which events should be tournaments and which shouldn't. The decision of whether a game is a tournament is usually mine alone, except if a game is sponsored (which is now a tournament sub-type) Does anyone else have a similar system?</div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462217318455_5164"><br></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462217318455_5165">I ask because I would like to suggest that all tournament types, except sponsored, be removed from the event submission page. I often have to explain that just because a GM wants a game to have a payout, it doesn't get one. Because GMs see the list on the event submission page, they get the impression they can decide whether there is a payout or not.</div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462217318455_5165"><br></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462217318455_5165">Anyway, I was curious what others thought about this suggestion.</div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462217318455_5165"><br></div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462217318455_5165">Shane Sauby</div><div dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1462217318455_5165">Boardgames Supervisor</div></div></body></html>
