If you need your special event on the home page and special events page, I’m the one you email the info to. I’m the generator of the Winners List and calculator of the Annual Awards, and as such tend to have a lot of involvement in the event paperwork. I also put up the con wide signs and am involved in reviewing and generating new con wide signs. We can meet somewhere like Geeky Teas where we can play games, eat, drink and get to know each other.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I would also like to discuss a short and concise list of best practices for our HQ volunteers. It would provide contact information for their supervisor and board members at con who are available to help deal with strange and awkward situations. Along with this, some basic rules of what our expectations are for a HQ volunteer, things to look out for and dealing with our clients. The con is beginning to grow to the point where we are dealing with a broader variety of people and issues.
