We already have a group for the LARP Department called “LARPs at Strategicon,” to which I invite all people interested in playing LARPs at the con, as I post daily schedules for LARPs every show, updates, rollcalls, calls for GMs, advertisements for games, and other info and goodies to up engagement. GMs can also plug their games there reliably to the folks who play and run LARPs at Strategicon. I recently also made a LARPs and Party Games Volunteers group on FB, where we can coordinate (since we share an HQ), including hopefully talking about HQ rules and sharing schedules etc. We also make memes about each other. And of course we have a massive chat in Messenger for both departments, and one for just my department, where we can talk shit on Party Games. (J/K Will; we love you.) 😊 For a long time, the mass HQ chat was called “Straty LARPy Party Peepz,” an advent of my volunteers, but I finally had to change it because my juvenile brain kept reading “Shitty LARPer Party Poopz” and omg that is making me laugh at this very minute, so it had to go. I realize I’m not inspiring confidence here, but if anyone wants me to use my admittedly childish Millennial Facebook acumen to get anything started, let me know. 😉 Memes shall abound.
