Greetings!

This Presidents' Day weekend (February 13-16), Orccon will invade the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel for an action-packed weekend of gaming. Event pre-registration opens this Saturday, January 24!

Hotel Rooms Almost Gone

We've sold out our initial block of rooms. The Hilton has graciously allocated us additional rooms, but space is limited. When these rooms are sold, we will not be able to get any more, so book now!

Visit http://www.strategicon.net for full convention details and to book your room by January 31st.

Tournaments Galore!

Mantic Games will host miniatures tournaments for both Deadzone and DreadBall, with awesome prizes awarded by Pat Lewis, Mantic's North American Community Manager. Tournaments will also he held for Warhammer (40K & Fantasy), Battlefleet Gothic and Blood Bowl. Our massive board game library continues to grow, and Orccon 2015 will host both a North American Catan Championship Qualifer and a stop on the Power Grid World Tour.

Special Guests: Patrick Nickell & Mike Brock

Crash Games founder Patrick Nickell will have a selection of games to demo and run from Crash, including Rise!, Council of Verona, Pay Dirt,Yardmaster, Paradise Fallen, and the Lost Dutchman.

Mike Brock, Paizo Publishing's Global Organized Play Coordinator, will lead a panel on the current state and future direction of organized RPG play. He will also run a special retired Pathfinder Society scenario; participants will be seated based on a silent auction, with all proceeds going to charity.

Meanwhile, the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League presents Tyranny of Dragons! Come play the latest edition of D&D and thwart the plans of Tiamat herself. Don't have that much time to spare? Orccon's army of dungeon masters is delighted to bring back Games on Demand, a flexible program of short pickup RPG games.

Our gaming conventions provide activities for all ages, including the return of Claydonia Conquers the World. Back by popular demand, this silly game for ages 6 and up lets you mold a creature out of clay and battle other clay creatures! We provide Clay-Doh… just be ready to fight! Artemis, a cooperative 6-player real-time spaceship bridge simulation game, will be playing 30-minute sessions Friday through Sunday, with kids-only sessions on Sunday morning.
