Stars and garters! We’re less than two weeks out from Gamex 2015! If you’re not planning to be at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport Hotel this Memorial Day weekend, May 22 - 25, we urge you to reconsider your priorities.

Special Guests: Dan Verssen, Michael Coe and Ian Stedman

Dan Verssen will debut Dan Verssen Games’ new World War II game Tiger Leader; he will also have new printings of several of his long-out-of-print titles, including Field Commander Napoleon, Field Commander Rommel and Field Commander Alexander.

Meanwhile, Michael Coe of Gamelyn Games will be running demos of Heroes’ Call, a new expansion to Tiny Epic Kingdoms, while Ian Stedman of Magic Meeple games will introduce their upcoming joint project Darkrock Ventures. Coe and Stedman will host a panel on the topic of independent game publishing on Sunday, May 24.

It is statistically probable that your next favorite board game is already in our enormous library, and our beginner-friendly Gaming 101 sessions can teach you the ropes. If you’re into minis, our Miniature Boot Camp has your back, with demos running from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

L.A. Board Game Jam

Gamex will be home to the first L.A. Board Game Jam, a competition challenging ten teams to design, test and demo a board game in just five hours. For more information, visit http://www.laboardgamejam.com.

Catan National Championship Qualifier

Gamex 2015 is proud to host a Catan National Championship Qualifier. Qualifying rounds will be held on Friday and Saturday for the Sunday Finals. The winner will receive a travel stipend and accommodations at Gen Con 2015, plus entry into Gen Con and the Catan National Championship Tournament. There will be an entry fee of $10 per qualifier.

Join us for four action-packed, adventure-filled days of gaming. The last day to pre-register for the con and individual events is May 18. The first 1,300 attendees in the door will receive a Gamex-exclusive flat plastic mini from Arcknight Miniatures!
