Missed out on PAX tickets? Lucky you! You can still experience four days of top-notch gaming action at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport hotel this Labor Day weekend. Hotel rooms at the convention rate are sold out. Parking rates at the Hilton: $9 general and $20 valet per day for convention attendees.

In addition to new and old classics like Werewolf, Two Rooms and a Boom, Captain Sonar, Parsely, Time’s Up! and Ca$h 'n' Gun$ Live, many up-and-coming Party Games will be testing their prototypes at Gateway. Jam On It!

The LA Board Game Jam is a board game design competition in which competing teams brainstorm, design, test, and complete a board game from a common theme and set of materials. It's like Iron Chef for board gaming. Games will be presented Sunday for admiration and prizes. Only five teams can compete, so register if you’d like to participate! Prepare for Adventure

The Dungeons and Dragons Adventurers League will debut two Season 5 adventures at Gateway: DDAL 5-2 “The Black Road” and DDAL 5-3 “Uninvited Guests”. On the non-League side, we are featuring a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition tournament hosted by 2C Gaming with prizes and Dealer Dollars for those who can survive the Total Party Kill dungeon.

In other RPG news, Ben Woerner (World of Dew) will be playtesting his upcoming Animalia Historium, while special guest jim pinto (Protocol, Carcass) will run his latest Post World Games creations. David Kizzia (Spirit of 77) has some surprises up his sleeve, so be sure to check out the schedule. Games on Demand will be going all day on Saturday.
