It is May! That means that Gamex is right around the corner – In fact, it starts THREE weeks and One day from today. Go to www.strategicon.net <http://www.strategicon.net/> to get all of the info about this great convention. (And pre-register while you are there!!).

In board gaming some of our featured events are the Power Grid World Tour and the Catan Qualifier. These are only a couple of our hundreds of board game events/tournaments that you can come and play!

Over in miniatures we have some great things going on with painting classes as well as our always popular paint and take. For those who don’t know how this works; you show up, grab a miniature from those that have been donated, paint it with donated paints and then take it home with you!! Hard to beat free and free…

There are SOOO many role playing events of different types that we may overload our system!!! Make sure to sign up early as some events fill very quickly. Whatever flavor of roleplaying you prefer we have it here for you. And yes, that includes LARPs!

Come stay with us! We still have some rooms available at the LAX Hilton. The last day to get a room at the convention rate is next Friday (May 10). The first day of convention is May 24!
