[Strategicon-announce] Your Gateway to the next Strategicon convention is opening!

The in-person version of Gateway has been cancelled, however, we will be putting on a VIRTUAL version of Gateway over Labor day weekend! (Sep 4-7).

Our Indie New Games department has games hosted by the designer of the game. You won't be able to find these games on the shelves of stores just yet. Have you ever wished you could talk to the developers and give your two cents? This is your chance to help make changes to games. One of the games at Gateway we will have is Macaron which WILL be launching on Kickstarter at around the same time as the convention! We will have 101’s for Macaron throughout the weekend and a tournament on Sunday!

Our miniatures department will be hosting a painting contest! Details will be on the Strategicon website soon.

We will also have some Play-to-Win events that are either watch-to-win or play along. Watch for these in the schedule of events.

These are just a few of the many many events that will be part of the upcoming convention!

Whether virtually or in person, volunteers are the heart of our show! Looking for volunteers to monitor Discord rooms, answering questions, and just keeping an eye and an ear on things. For more information email volunteer at strategicon.net <mailto:volunteer at strategicon.net>.
