[Strategicon-announce] Gamex 2021 goes virtual!

The in-person version of Gamex has been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, however, we are putting on a VIRTUAL version of Gamex over Memorial Day weekend! (May 28-31). This is your last chance to see what a virtual con is all about -- if all goes well this will be the last one!

Board Games is hosting a Power Grid world tour! Visit the Brazil, Spain, Japan and Russia in this go around. We have a teaching session on Friday if you want to learn how to play Power Grid.

Werewolf is always popular at these shows and this one is no exception. So far we have nine games scheduled, and possibly more to come!

Our Miniatures department will be hosting a virtual painting contest! See what miniature you can transform into a masterpiece over the course of the con. Miniatures must be started and finished during the con. 

We have a full expanded slate of games from the Adventurers League running at Gamex 2021. Play several different Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition modules, some serialized over the course of the convention.

All these are just a few of the many, many events that will be part of the upcoming convention! More added daily. Details for all the above events are already up on the web site.

Game submission is still open for Gamex 2021! We'll be taking new games through May 7th, so if there's something you want to play and don't see it offered, volunteer to run it yourself!
