[Strategicon-announce] Orccon 2022 is only four weeks away!

Live Gaming returns to Los Angeles on Presidents Day weekend in the form of Orccon 2022 at the Hilton, Los Angeles Airport! We're getting closer than you might think -- in just a couple of days (January 22 at noon PST) game pre-registration starts!

But we still need games! If you'd like to run a game please sign up to do so at www.strategicon.net/?run_event. We can only run the games we have volunteers to run!

On top of more games, we need volunteers for all sorts of things. Run games, help with the family area, work the registration desk, whatever — we need people to make a live convention happen. Here is some of what you can look forward to at Orccon 2022!

With the return of a live show we're hosting a Settlers of Catan qualifier for the national Settlers of Catan championship.

Vampire the Eternal Struggle returns to Los Angeles. Dust off those decks and indulge your inner bloodsucker for a two-day tournament over Saturday and Sunday.

The Power Grid World Tour returns! As this is the first live Orccon in two years, we're planning a whirlwind tour of some more unusual locales.

Adventurers League offers a plethora of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition adventures. Sign ups at warhorn.net.

Our dealer room is sold out, the flea market promises to be as insane as always, and our Monday game auction will offer a wide selection of games and some entertainment too!

Stay with us at the LAX Hilton! We still have some rooms available for every night of the show. Reservations must be made by February 3rd to get the convention rate, and you must have a badge to register for a room. Due to the Super Bowl being the prior weekend in Los Angeles, all room registration must be handled through the Strategicon web site. Once the rooms are gone, they're gone -- we cannot get more.

Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic we must request that all attendees eligible to be vaccinated be vaccinated. Los Angeles county requires all attendees ages 5 and above be vaccinated and has an indoor mask mandate.
