Strategicon hosts its third and final game convention of 2025 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport this coming Labor Day weekend, Friday August 29 through Monday September 1. That's Real Soon Now™.

Would you like to earn a free badge to Gateway 2025? Have we got a deal for you! Strategicon is looking for GMs to run games, and here is the best part, you get to pick the games! If you'd like to run a game please sign up to do so at www.strategicon.net/?run_event. We can only run the games we have volunteers to run! The submission deadline for events is Friday August 8. We also need general volunteers as well.

In addition to more games, we need volunteers for all sorts of things. Run games, help with Board Game HQ, work the registration desk, whatever — we need people to make a live convention happen. Once we have all the events submitted we turn on game sign ups on Saturday at noon!

Starfinder Society 2E Makes Landfall! 
Newly released Starfinder RPG 2nd Edition BLASTS OFF at Gateway 2025! 20+ tables await your cosmic adventure in epic 3-hour sessions! Pick an Iconic hero or craft your own — we've got dice, character sheets, and everything you need. Just bring friends and prepare for GALACTIC ACTION!

The last day of our shows for the year is Monday, September 1. This year we've absolutely stacked it with events.

The LAST Monday MEGA is 7 Wonders! 
You read that right.  The MEGA Monday is coming to an end and the last one will be 7 Wonders. The Monday MEGA is at 11 am and will be a Sponsored event, so there will be prizes! Including a 7 Wonders expansion, Strategicon swag, and a free badge for the next convention. Haven't played 7 Wonders before?  Then come by the 101 at 10 am.

The 2025 Power Grid World Tour Champion will be crowned!
There will be four different maps, one map each day of the convention, finishing the 2025 PGWT season. Make sure to play as many games as you can to score points toward becoming the 2025 Power Grid World Tour Champion!

Kickstarter Monday
We are going to try something a little new on Monday this convention, with 5 brand new games with recent successful Kickstarter campaigns.  Check the schedule to see if there is a game you would like to check out.

If you're not into new kickstarter games, you can find a myriad of old kickstarter games in our Monday 11 am Game Auction!

More games are being added daily.

For those that like to shop we have over 40 vendors in our dealer room. Many old favorites along with some fresh faces. A wide variety of games and game-related paraphernalia for every type of gamer. We also have the Strategicon Flea Market and the aforementioned Strategicon Game Auction. Here you can find that missing gem for your collection or possibly clear your closet of your surplus games.

Stay with us at the LAX Hilton! We still have some rooms available for the show. Reservations must be made by Thursday August 14 to get the convention rate. We will probably sell out soon, so book now.
