Strategicon hosts its second game convention of 2025 at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport the coming Memorial Day weekend, Friday May 23 through Monday May 26.

Would you like to earn a free badge to Gamex 2025? Then we've got a deal for you! Strategicon is looking for GMs to run games, the best part is you get to pick the games! If you'd like to run a game please sign up to do so at www.strategicon.net/?run_event. We can only run the games we have volunteers to run! The submission deadline for events is Friday May 2nd.

On top of more games, we need volunteers for all sorts of things. Run games, help with Board Game HQ, work the registration desk, whatever — we need people to make a live convention happen. If you want to GM and don’t mind pre-teens in your events, consider running something in the Family Area! We host Kids Only and Family events and we are open 9am to 9pm. Space is limited. Please contact stratcon_familyarea at strategicon.net for more details.

Here are some events you can look forward to at Gamex 2025!

PaizoCon Online is storming Gamex 2025 with over 50 tables of Pathfinder and Starfinder Society games! Don't miss our crown jewel event — the Pathfinder multi-table special "Fate in the Future" — where hundreds of adventurers from around the world unite for an unforgettable quest that will test your mettle! Begins Saturday at 10 am.

Gamex is once again hosting a Catan qualifier tournament for the National Catan Championship. The event starts on Sunday at 11 am. Every player will play three games and those with the best records will qualify for the Semifinals. The final table will get some great Catan Swag and the winner will get an invitation to the Catan National Championship Event.

Three rounds. Three different games. One Champion. THE GAUNTLET begins with a qualifying round of Azul on Sunday at noon, followed by a semifinal round of Catan. The final four players will play Terraforming Mars to determine THE GAUNTLET Champion. THE GAUNTLET is a Tournament has over 100 Dealer Dollars in prizes!

For those that like to shop we have over 40 vendors in our dealer room. Many old favorites along with some fresh faces. A wide variety of games and game-related paraphernalia for every type of gamer. We also have the Strategicon Flea Market and the Strategicon Game Auction. Maybe you can find that missing gem for your collection or possibly clear your closet of your surplus games.

Stay with us at the LAX Hilton! We still have some rooms available for every night of the show, but not many, and once they're gone, they're gone. Reservations must be made by Thursday May 8th to get the convention rate.
