Strategicon presents our first show of 2026 — Orccon 2026 at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton over Presidents' Day weekend (Feb 13 - Feb 16). Preregistration for the show and events ends on Monday February 9th at the stroke of midnight! Sign up now!

We still need volunteers for all sorts of things. Run games, help with the family area, work the registration desk, whatever — people are what makes a live convention happen. If you're interested in getting in for free for 8 hours of volunteering, please sign up at www.strategicon.net/?volunteer.

Orccon's 2026's schedule is packed with over 900 individual events — so many events that we cannot possibly list them all here. Games include Magic: the Gathering, Catan, Werewolf and several variants, Ticket to Ride, Power Grid, multiple editions of (Advanced) Dungeons & Dragons, GURPS, Battletech, Lorcana, Warhammer 40k, Terraforming Mars, over 200 different board games, over 200 different sections of RPGs, historical and non-historical miniatures (plus painting lessons!), collectible card games, video games, traditional, party, and family games, live-action games, and a whole lot more. Many new along with several old-school games of all types. There's even several playtests of games yet to be published!

We have Special Guests! Come meet Grant Dalgliesh of Columbia Games, Rick Gardner of Blue Rondo Games, and Dan Kobayashi of Ninja Star Games. Each of these designers offers unique insights into their creations and the industry as a whole.

Saturday is Valentine's Day and we have several events planned for it! Did you bring your valentine to Orccon? Or do you have a group of friends who know random ... stuff? Come to our special Valentine's edition of Strategicon Trivia Saturday at 5 in Carmel, hosted by our own Shane "Quizmaster" Sauby. There will be seven rounds of themed trivia with glory and prizes for the best team.

Trivia not your thing? Spend Valentine's Day gaming with your favorite and most beloved nerd! This Orccon we're putting together some fabulous Valentine's events for you, including our LARP ball event "Las Pasiones de Camelot." Wear a lovely costume and prepare to be swept off your feet!

Starship Valkyrie will be running our big finale event this Presidents Day weekend at Orccon! Join us for this splendid 35-person event, featuring five GMs and a combination of SSV Basic 3.0 and SSV Fleet Battle! Starship Valkyrie is a MilSF hybrid crisis simulator game, with elements of war gaming, board gaming, strategy games, radio play, and RPG. Don't miss your chance to win the Second Praezorian War and witness the Battle of Rasalhague! Give those roaches what for!

Most of our games offer pre-registration and if you have signed up for the convention you have a few days left to sign up for your favorite game. With so many games on our schedule even if you had over 200 hours of convention you couldn’t play them all. However, you only have 78 hours of play time at the convention and in about that same amount of time pre-registration is closing! (Hint: Go sign up now)

Paint your minis! Orccon offers our Paint and Take painting demonstration both Saturday and Sunday -- all materials provided. Want to learn to paint great minis in just minutes? Come on by!

For those that like to shop we have over 40 vendors in our dealer room. Many old favorites along with some fresh faces. A wide variety of games and game-related paraphernalia for every type of gamer. We also have the Strategicon Flea Market and the Strategicon Game Auction. Here you can find that missing gem for your collection or possibly clear your closet of your surplus games.
