[Deptheads] Breaking Up The Band...

Hello all,

I just want to take a moment, as a minor cog in the machine, to thank Paul for all his work, input and the intangibles he has brought to our efforts over the last year-and-a-half we in "the new group" have known him.

It's going to be awfully weird not having him as part of the team. It's doubly unsettling to lose one of the key people central to our efforts to revitalize and re-grow the con. There was a pretty big shake-up, obviously, during the initial transition, and the people we added, and/or kept integral to our staff and "brain trust" always seemed to me to represent our common vision of renewal for these silly little game conventions... Seeing key staff people leave (and especially?trusted staff people that have done a good job)?feels too much like something from the "bad old days."

I hope we can maybe keep Paul on the staff in an advisory/emeritus role? Just an idea.

Thanks again, Paul!? And every best wish in the future, especially with your family plans.? Maybe we'll see another Tevis or two showing up at cons in the future?
