As the one who started the discounts, I do want to say I am VERY happy that
you all as the new owners have kept it going.

honestly, as far as getting the word out...it only takes one or two members
of a group to see something to get the word to everyone else. Have we
contacted Blizzard to see how much they would charge for a ONE DAY advertisement
promoting us? If we could do it on a Tuesday, that is the day they do their
updates and most players check in that day to download the latest patch and so
forth...

Hope is that out of a gaming group of 10, 2 will see this ad and let
everyone else know about it....as well as people asking their guilds about it on
that day.

Strategicon currently offers group discounts to _BoardGameGeek_
(http://www.boardgamegeek.com/) , _Boardgame News_ (http://www.boardgamenews.com/) ,
_Camarilla_ (http://camarilla.white-wolf.com/) , _DCI_ (http://www.wizards.com/dci/)
, HMGS, _Orange County Board Gamers_ (http://boardgames..meetup.com/40/) ,
_Polycon_ (http://www.polycon.org/) , _RPGA_ (http://www.wizards.com/rpga/) ,
_Quest Club_ (http://www.questclubgames.org/) , _SoCal ASL Club_
(http://www.socalasl.com/) , _SoCal Gamers_ (http://www.socalgamers.info/) , SoCal Games
Day, Westside Gamers, Bakersfield Board Gamers. Also the main page announces
Group Discount which is very good.

More groups is a good idea. I will start putting the above list in my
marketing spam on forums and such and see if that generates some movement.
However, the main thing we offer gaming groups is the chance to play with new
people and try new games. For many home gamers, that is not an incentive.

What ideas do you have to find these private groups? If they can be found,
they can be contacted which is at least a first step.
