[Deptheads] Gamex chosen for DnD Open Pacific Region Qualifer

Mickey Tan, one of the RPGA team, has secured Gamex as the site for the D&D Open Championship US Pacific Region Qualifier rounds.   The top 3 teams will receive invites to the semi-finals which I assume are at GenCon.  This will be the last big hurrah of the old edition.   Congrats to Mickey for stealing the event away from KublaCon. 
   
  Now we are pushing RPGA HQ to provide us mass email direct marketing to all their members in the US Pacific Region.  Too bad they didn't tell us this last week before we printed the flyer.  I have no idea how popular these qualifier events are at conventions and I have asked for some prior event numbers. 
   
  Since we are now hosting 4e previews and the DnD Open, we are going to be pushing the snot out of WotC to provide prize support.   I have also asked them for prize support for D&D collectible minis demos.  Victor, email me directly so we can talk about this.   I would love to get cross-department pollination out of these events.
