He is not confirmed yet, but it is Lonnie Gill, and the group is the company
Old Dominion Gameworks.
1/700 scale are Battleship miniatures about 12" in length, using 30 feet as
the horizon (about 23,000 yards).
There is no specific scenario this time around as it will be geared towards
teaching the game to new people, but we will have (either in Sept or Feb) a
Task Force Z scenario, a South Pacific USA vs. Japan scenario, and a North
Atlantic scenario.
SHOULD I EXTEND A GUEST INVITE TO LONNIE AND 2 OR 3 OF HIS STAFF FOR THE
GAMEX? Please let me know ASAP and I will get you an answer/confirmation from
them ASAP.

Who is the author and what is his company name? What is the name of the
battle that is being renacted? For non-modellers, how big in inches is a 1/700
size? I want to put this as a special guest / special event to highlight our
Historicals.

Nothing spectacular, but I will be putting on the first ever General
Quarters events in 1/700 scale (British and German showdown in the North Atlantic),
and the author of the game and his group will probably be there at the
convention for it. We will be doing it Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.
