I will throw my 2 cents into the arena here.  As someone that has had to scramble to find tournament space in the past for board games, (and I am sure again in the future) I don't like the idea of having space dedicated to one group that is only  utilized it for about 20-35% of the con.  It would be highly frustrating to have empty tables and players looking for space.

I will state, that I am against giving any group that does not pay us $2000 up front to section off an area.  Our dealers do this, games do not!
GM and games should share space, not reserve rooms.

If you guys feel I'm wrong on this, then tell me.  This is why I have a problem with this event!  They are asking too much!

I don't feel like I've really gotten any guidance from anyone on this and if you leave it up to me, then that is what I'm going to tell these guys.

Well then, yes, they should get the room if they're going to use it all day
Saturday and Sunday.
