You are correct.

For scheduling purposes, assume Newport is Seminars/movies, assume computer room is Malibu. Laguna is LARPs/RPGs (it's he largest room and closest to the bar :-)

However, if by some miracle the locks on Newport have been fixed by the time the show starts, I will switch the computer room and the seminar room. Do not plan for this as I'm assuming it won't happen. If it does, it'll be in the errata sheet. They're right next door to each other -- confusion will be minimal.
