"Department" is a bit of a misnomer here, but it's used as a term of convenience. It's "Special Projects". John has volunteered to help bring back a lot of events that we know and love, that you can only get a convention and that we have no idea whom to contact to re-establish them. We're planting seeds. What we do with them has not been determined, but the M&M was just the first of these. Not everything will be miniatures -- it will not be pigeonholed. The hope is that people will see the event, step forward and help run it. John can't be expected to run 20 events during a con....

You'll note that M&M was run under miniatures. Things will be placed under the appropriate list, but I'm giving John a lot of latitude as to when we hand things off -- I don't want us to run one of these things and then let it die without some support (it may die, but we have to give it a chance). The goal is to expand what we offer without stepping on any department's toes.

Now if anyone knows the guy(s) that ran the old Monster Mash, I'd love to get ahold of him/them.

Hope that clarifies things in this regard. If anyone has any issues on this, email me privately.

Eric
