I want to make sure everyone is clear on one thing...all I said about the
RPG department is they did a great job, all the problems of the past have been
resolved except we open ourselves up to possible litigation by not having a
presence in a large area that we are responsible for.

There have been no fights at Strategicon events to my knowledge. There have
been fights at other conventions across the country.

I did NOT say move RPG HQ to the 3rd floor, I said get an HQ up there so we
have a presence there. I remember when we were first talking about what to
change and not to change that a concern was how the different departments from
previous ownership branched off, were shut away, and didn't keep in touch
with the attendees. On my way home from the con I was thinking about this and
what we needed to do and how to word it.

Everyone please re-read what I WROTE about everything.

I am NOT advocating event fees....I am suggesting refundable with interest
deposits to hold your spot.

My point on Open Gaming is that we MUST make it a priority to give Open
Gaming a space, and without an Open Gaming department, it gets forgotten or
thrown by the wayside.

My point on volunteers is that we need to work on getting more so we CAN
start giving people more time off and we CAN open up Miniatures on Friday and
Monday.

I admitted I knew VERY little about the D&D 4e situation, my suggestion was
to give it it's own room for our first Con with it and highlight it so people
know where they can check it out. Knowing limited information about it, I
thought it would be in the RPGs where D&D has always been, and it is
reasonable that someone else with limited knowledge of it would look there and not
find it.

Off subject, yes, I very much want to grow the M&M attendance to what it
was, and I will be bringing with me a staff of people who will be doing M&M and
introducing GQ so everyone gets time off and the space is utilized from 10am
to about 11pm straight through each day. I had over 20 comments of people
who knew people that played M&M that were not at Con and were going to tell
them about it, and there are about 30 GQ players in Anaheim alone that I am
going to lure to Con because it has NEVER been played on 1/700 scale.

Also, I still have my Ludinn staff shirt and info, but tried the old number
I had and it is no longer in service. Last time they were at Con I believe
was February 2006. Maybe Registration can search and see if anyone has Ludinn
in their notes with contact information?
