I wanted to spin this off to another thread.

When we say that Blizzard might run our computer room (which would be great and I would then totally support the video game room being in high-profile San Jose) what are we giving them? Do they want a seperate admission fee? (That might be appropriate considering that their BlizzCon is an event that was sold-out and run like clock-work). If they do want a seperate admission, what does that mean to us?

I've been dealing with Blizzard on a major project for two years. One thing has become clear - these people won't just lend their name out to anything. We have to display professionalism dealing with them. To that end, who on our end is dealing with them and are we giving them everything they need? (I'm just pointing out that Eric/Janice/Tim needs to know this, not me).

Once we cement a laison, as con co-owner and manager, Eric should make sure to at least represent the con to whatever Blizzard VIP he needs to. These people are a multi-billion dollar company and if we need to get on our knees and ask them "pretty please" lets do that. This could potentially bring in hundreds of additional attendees.

/John Ptavia mode off.
