I say don't charge for demo tables. Keep them free. The smart dealers will use them as sales tools and outreach. The others will follow once they see the demo tables result in more sales.
I really like the designated "demo area" idea IF we can get it filled with people / events. Maybe we can do something where dealers sponsor GMs who do demos with swag or other discounts.
We have plenty of GMs who would love to demo fav games.
