[Deptheads] Open Gaming

This is one person's opinion, but I think it is far more important to
accommodate scheduled gaming than it is to do so for open gaming. We
could plaster all over the Web site that we have open gaming, but if
we don't schedule games, I think attendance will suffer greatly. I
know some conventions that don't have open gaming at all.

And personally, in all the years I've been gaming and going to
conventions (more than 30 years now), and Strategicon conventions
specifically (22 and counting), I personally have practically never
used open gaming. It is not and never has been a destination for me.
While I concede this is just one person's experience, it is still a
valid one.

And San Jose, I believe, will be used for something other than
miniatures at Gateway.
