One thing I don't like about KublaCon's event listing is that it only
shows 12 events at a time, with no option to show more than that. I
also find it cumbersome that they have so much "frou-frou" all around
the event listings, space that could be more profitably utilized (at
least in my opinion) to show more event information.

Big Costco run for bread, sandwich fixings, sodas, snacks, etc. is the
most economical thing I can think of, if the con is spending the
money. More economical, though for obvious reasons less consistent or
reliable, is asking people to volunteer to bring food, such as is done
at many SF cons.
