[Deptheads] Broadside Bash rumours and news

There was no organized boycott of the Socal GT, and I'm on the PM boards
also.  Those that responded about attendance, prior and after the event,
weren't able to attend due to life issues (family commitments, jobs, etc).
Typical reasons.

The perennial reason why most don't attend is the same reason why they don't
come up to our conventions.  They live in San Diego and we aren't there.
