[Deptheads] Testing

Yep...they probably haven't had much like this to go on. If we decide to go
with someone like this, I can talk to them to see what can be worked out.
Some places I have worked this type of thing out with had insurance issues,
some just "company policy," so it all depends.

Actually, contracts can and will be written out that will exclude us from
being in this situation. I have done these before, and when Eric finds someone
who will work with us, I'll be able to help him on this.

Even if we end up no better than before, we need to do something to show we
are being active on this problem and doing what we can for our attendees.

On the "Pre-register Parking with the Convention," this is viable and may be
needed to secure a contract with a lot. There are places that will require
a certain number of parking spaces paid for 30 days in advance, and this is
the only way to actually protect the convention (with a "no refund" on the
parking space needed). Almost always, when you pay for a space like this,
in/out privileges are almost always automatic, another bonus.

I must agree with Gayle,

On the other hand, let's make a list of parking with in and out
privileges, or just all the benefits and let it slip to the parking
people and let them give us the deal.

Less work and better prices, February will still be in the down swing of
the current economic shift.

They will be hurting for customers and we will need a boost for our people.
