Information about SoCal Smackdown (this is from the MIB Mailing List):

This was the cons first year created in an attempt to bring gaming back to
the orange county area, the con was a bit small in its first year but
overall it was a fun time.

The only major issue was that it seems an older schedule ended up getting
printed which was missing about half the planed games and mixed up the times
and days of some of the others. All in all we ended up cutting about half
the events since the majority of gamers were there for the miniature events
and any other errors we corrected with the whiteboard at the entrance to the
hall.

We have been asked to come back again next year and help with the planning
stages of the con to improve the board and card game offerings.
