I spent some time tracking down other convention websites, and I think our
website is pretty good, if not as bright and flashy as some. I think just
some really good graphics would go a long way toward improving the website,
starting with a distinct and separate logo for each con. We could come up
with the logo for Orccon, and then announce a contest at Orccon for a logo
for Gamex. We pick the winner and announce it at Gamex, and then do the same
thing for Gateway.
*
Overall Structure of the Website*
Strategicon could be a single page with links to an Orccon page, a Gamex
page, and a Gateway page. It will highlight which ever show is the next
one. Many of the links from these seperate pages would still go to the same
content pages, like event submission. Structurally they would be very
similar, but each will have a different color theme and graphics. Gencon
would be a good example this type of simple front page.

The basic structure of our main page is really good, and should serve as a
good model for the individual con pages.
*Website Look*
I like the look of neoncon. Our website seems washed out and drab. I think
we need more bright colors, more lively.

Anime Expo has a nice menu across the top, it looks sharp, but a little
dark. Black and burgundy seem an odd color theme for such a colorful genre.

*Event Submission*
Delimited file version of the sign up sheets. Something that would be very
easy to dump into a spread sheet.
Add the user name of the account doing the submission to the event
submission info.
After a event submission form reload after missed required field, the data
is gone and days and times pull down boxes are empty. Also make it a little
more obvious what happened and what field was not filled in.
Event submission form, default day and time changed to blank instead of the
first time slot on Fri, and the first day/time is a required field, but not
the second or third.
Add a Submit and Stay option, to keep the form data to make it easy to
submit the same event at multiple times.
Add a field for board game geek game numbers, so that we can create a link
to a description of the games, especially in the pre reg.
*Pre reg Approval*
Add an approve all button. It would be much quicker to look through all the
requests, deny any that need to be denied, and then approve the rest.
*Content*
A virtual tour of the con. A map of the convention areas, and each area
links to an image gallery of pictures taken in that area.
(I think this would be within my abilities to do, so I would be willing to
volunteer to do this)
