[Deptheads] Orccon - Space Layout

Magic-
Space for at least 64 players plus they need to have a DCI judge HQ area to put their product, the large clock for draft timing and round timing, and their computers for DCI reporting and scoring. Lots of paperwork and event recording per round.

Laughing Moon-
If needed......They can use the space right outside the collectables room. It can easily accomidate three 6' tables, has good traffic, is to the left of reg desk and bathrooms, and is very visable.

Paratrooper Larp-
Talk to Rob McD and ApocaLARP. It will fit in with their zombie, apoocalypse, military larp. Especially if during the game they leave the sheraton roof and go capture the penthouse from raidsson for us to use.
Either that or live action "Halo Reach" in the debris that will one day be a parking lot.
And anyone that brings their dog can have them play in the WW2 larp as a french leader. All they have to do is roll over.

You left out Laughing Moon, Mind Storm & Catalyst Games Labs...

How much space (6' tables) will Magic need?

Magic wants to move to the foyer in order to attract more people. We have run out of space for collectables so we will need to move some people. However, magic won't need all the foyer, nor will the demos, nor will the Ex Illis folks, but space will be tight.

Tim has it under control -- just make sure you talk to him before promising anything :-) (Me, I promised the roof to the paratrooper LARP -- that won't be a problem, will it?)

I had thought that it was agreed that the hallway outside the exhibitors hall was where demo where being done?

Has this changed?

I have run into a few conflicts with games being promised specific space for Orccon.    Everyone knows that space at Orccon is tight.  Please do not promise space to anyone without clearing it with me first.  Collectibles, Board Games, Video & Computer games, Seminars, Rock Band,  Registration and the Exhibitor's Hall, will be in the same space they were in for Gamex.  Parts of the main foyer; the hallways in front of Board Games and the Exhibitor's Hall and the breakout rooms have yet to be assigned.
