[Deptheads] Orccon 2011 Space Planning

There needs to be dedicated space for rock band. It is a awesome event for us. Nick and Erin do a great job with it.
Outside the video game room is demos and magic the gathering and the dealer's room is next door.
Someone at the meeting was conened about the noise from the demo/magic area disturbing the dealer's room. Rock band is a loud event. The only event you can put pit next to and neither complains of the noise.
 If rock band cannot use the theatre & stage (which is preferred because it gives the concert feeling and people actually pop in and watch) then it needs a room (inside or outside, or cabama).

So is that going to be the plan (roping off space near the Video Game Room)? And if so, is it going to be for just Dance Central, or Rock Band as well?

Well, if we were in the older hotel, we could have used the room that rock band was held in. Plus that would have been cool with the projector screen and everything, and give people the benefit of not dancing in front of everyone playing halo. But I am not familiar with the new hotel. I don't know who this person is, but I'm assuming he's someone already involved in the 'con, since he was able to add the event.
