The titles are the responsibility of the "Team Leader" (is that the new name
we agreed on?) to use or not. There best use is to identify a volunteer or
exhibitor with a company that they are representing.
The current red stripe across the bottom of the badge with "STAFF" in white
is as identifiable as anything else we could put on the badge. Unless we
start wearing bright red "Staff" shirts, the person is still going to have
to get close enough to read to the badge to tell if the person is staff. Is
this being brought up because one person couldn't find a staff person as
quickly as they wanted to? I really have a hard time seeing how this is a
real issue.
Shirts would be very identifiable, but there are problems with the type of
shirt that would be comfortable for everyone, and have fou8r shirts for each
staff person.
If we really need to make staff more identifiable, I suggest badge holders
with the wide strap lanyards. We can have them done with red straps and
white lettering saying "STAFF". A quick check on the first site I found was
$90 for 50 lanyards with badge holders.
On a slightly different topic, the lanyards with a "VIP" design might be
something to add to the VIP package.
